PNDC workshop on Smart Grid communications:

The PNDC is actively working in the latest Smart Grid communications technologies such as next-generation communication networks, (i.e. 5G/LTE, SD-WAN. MPLS, Fibre networks and IoT), virtualisations, Cloud integration and cyber security. The PNDC workshop on Smart Grid communications aims to bring together utility operators, academic institutions, industry associations, and regulators along with the technology and telecoms providers to discuss challenges, share knowledge and present solutions needed to deliver secure, robust and reliable services to the future of the smart grid and help shaping the future of global energy solutions.

Venue, Accommodation, and Travel:

The PNDC workshop on Smart Grid communications will be held in the University of Strathclyde’s Technology and Innovation Centre, in the city centre of Glasgow (on Thursday 23th of September). The city is easy to access by rail, road and Glasgow Airport.  The venue is in the City Centre and many hotels are nearby (about 2 mins walk).  Event full address is: Technology and Innovation Centre, University of Strathclyde, 99 George Street, Glasgow, Scotland, UK, G1 1RD
