Call for Workshops
We solicit proposals for workshops that will be held together with the 2023 International Conference on Smart Applications, Communications and Networking (SmartNets 2023).
We welcome proposals on emerging topics that are anticipated not able to be fully explored in the main conference. The purpose of workshops is to provide a comprehensive forum and encourage in-depth discussion of various technical and application issues in the research fields covered by the conference. Workshop registration, venue, as well as proceedings will be handled as part of the main conference by the SmartNets organizers.
Since both space and time are limited, we expect the selection process to be competitive. The topic coverage, the proposers’ credential, the interested audience, and relevance of the topic will all be considered in the selection process.
Priority will be given to proposals that not only address an exciting topic but also promise a creative format likely to generate lively interactions and foster new ideas. Examples include bringing practitioners and researchers together, as well as facilitating multi-disciplinary discussions that can lead to high impact and transformative research.
All accepted workshops should implement peer-reviews of accepted papers (no less than 6 pages length).
Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.
Since the camera-ready deadline is set to be June 20, 2023, the proposers must come with a submission/review schedule that meets this deadline.
