Submissions

Prospective authors are invited to submit to the related tracks via the online EDAS system: https://edas.info/N31797

All submission should be in IEEE PDF format.

1) Full or Short Paper Submission:

Full papers should describe novel research contributions with evaluation results and are limited to six (6) printed pages (10-point font) including figures, references and appendices (two additional pages are allowed with a per-page extra fee).

Short papers, limited in length to four (4) pages, should be more visionary in nature and are meant to discuss new challenges and visions, showcase early research results, and explore novel research directions.

Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.

To be published in the IEEE Xplore and proceedings, every accepted paper MUST have at least one registered author at the Full Rate. One author registration covers one paper.

Each additional paper (2nd and onward) will be charged 50% of  the full registration fee for the same author registrant.

All submitted papers must be unpublished and not considered elsewhere for publication, should be written in English and formatted according to IEEE Template. IEEE specification based Latex and MS-Word templates for paper submission are available here (http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html).

The program committee may designate some accepted paper to the conference as SmartNets-2024 Best Papers. Every submission   automatically eligible for this award. Each author on each of the selected papers will receive a certificate to be awarded at the award dinner banquet. Please note that, IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

2) Posters and Demos Abstract Submission:

SmartNets 2024 conference is inviting posters and demos proposals submissions. The posters and demos track of SmartNets provides a forum for late-breaking results, on-going research projects, and innovative ideas, as well as prototypes of semantic technologies and their applications in various domains. Submissions to the posters and demos track may cover all topics of SmartNetsposters and demos will be presented in a separate, interactive session, providing the opportunity for engaging in discussions and direct exchange.

Authors must submit a two-page extended abstract for evaluation. All submissions will undergo a common review process, including those related to already accepted full papers.
